Sakupan's doujinshi 'Rakudai Ninja Rantarou: Sakupan' (Yamada Toshiyoshi x Doi Hansuke) from Kavada Koubou is a delightful adult-oriented take on the classic anime characters. The artwork is stunning, capturing the essence of the original designs while adding a mature twist. The story explores a subtle yet intense relationship dynamic, balancing tenderness and passion. The BL elements are well-executed, focusing on emotional build-up rather than explicit scenes. Fans of gap moe will appreciate the contrast between the characters' public personas and private moments. While the plot is straightforward, the character chemistry and artistic detail make it engaging. Non-Japanese speakers might miss dialogue nuances but can still enjoy the visual storytelling and atmospheric pacing.
